Thanks for this information. I find it useful. Glory to Hinduism !

I heard from a few scholars and people who worked for Hinduism that if any sentence, word or phrase in shlokas are mispronounced, they can lead to bad consequences because it may altogether change the meaning of the words. Are you sure about the precision of these shlokas?

Your Blog is too good along with the meaning it’s a great effort by you.
But I have a clarification, not to hurt anybodies sentiments, the morning prayer-,
I was thought that it’s the 3 trinity’s wife’s name that we recite every morning
i,e
karaagre vasate lakshmiih
karamadhye sarasvatii
karamuule tu sthete gowri (and not govindah)
prabhaate karadarshanam
if I am wrong correct me :-)
thank you

Dear Krishnan Iyer, Mispronouncing some word/s in a sloka won't matter much. Or even like the sloka Karaagre AFA I hv come to know has two versions 1 with Gowri and other with Govinda. I think importance lies in focus on GOD. Even Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam initially one may pronounce incorrectly. But we have to listen and try to recite. There is nothing wrong. Or just as Lord Shiva has said RAMA nama itself is enough. Main idea is devotion making ourselves pure by reciting and chanting with our full love and attention on GOD. BUT.... some stotras like SRI RUDRAM CHAMAKAM etc. needs initiation.
